Foley Brunch & Supper Club, formerly known as Foley Coffee Shop, according to some historians is said to be the oldest dining establishment in Baldwin County that is still in operation. Its origins, beginning as a bakery, in downtown Foley and later relocating in 1964 under the ownership of Mr. Franklin. Alongside his wife and daughter, Mr. Franklin successfully managed the coffee shop. In 1990, Donald "Woody" Woodburn, an experienced restaurant industry professional, saw an opportunity to acquire Foley Coffee Shop. Woody's ownership spanned 28 years, during which Foley Coffee Shop became renowned for its delightful coffee and welcoming ambiance. Eventually, Woody decided to sell the business. Marcos Aguilar took over Foley Coffee Shop from Woody but after nearly five years, he decided to sell. Daniel Cox IV and Marti K. Webster, owners of a successful nearby business, expressed interest in acquiring Foley Coffee Shop. Impressed by their track record, Marcos believed they would be capable stewards of the Foley Coffee Shop. On November 15, 2022, the sale was completed, coincidentally marking one year since Daniel and Marti's initial visit to Foley Coffee Shop. With the acquisition, they are enthusiastic about expanding their hospitality group and envision Foley Brunch & Supper Club as a gathering place known for a warm atmosphere, unforgettable service and unforgettable moments aiming to positively impact the lives of their staff and loyal customers while honoring Foley Coffee Shop's legacy.
